The BEKOMAT® is an electronically level-controlled condensate drain used for draining off condensate in compressed air systems. The condensate formed is collected inside the BEKOMAT and the filling level is monitored by an integrated capacitive sensor. When the condensate reaches a set level, the drain valve opens and discharges the condensate — and closes again before compressed air can escape.

Unlike float drains that leak and time-controlled solenoid valves that vent compressed air during every opening cycle, the level-controlled BEKOMAT opens only when condensate is actually present. That means zero loss of expensively generated compressed air, lower energy costs and reliable, maintenance-friendly operation around the clock.

The standard housing is made of corrosion-resistant aluminium with a protective silver-coloured coating, which makes the BEKOMAT particularly reliable and robust. BEKOMAT CO versions are designed for oil-free and more aggressive condensate; hard-coated models are available for the very acidic condensate produced by oil-free compressors.
